Difficult People
But, unfortunately, we all know that not everyone is kind and encouraging. Some are passive aggressive, and others are just
outright mean. These “difficult people” are
quick to point out our failures and, no matter how hard we try, we can never be
quite “good enough” in their eyes.
For our physical, emotional, and spiritual
health, it’s extremely important that we limit our interactions with difficult people,
but sometimes we just can’t. What do we do
then?
We have to use our faith. Faith
is believing God, even when God is silent and the difficult people are
loud. In other words, whenever people
are telling you that you aren’t (fill in the blank) enough, pull out your
shield of faith and quench those fiery darts.
Take what God says about you, cling to it, and make it become real
to you on the inside until it becomes a reality in your world. In Christ:
You
are holy and without blame before Him in love (see Ephesians 1:4 & 1
Peter 1:16)
You are a joint heir with Christ (see Romans 8:17)
You are an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of His
testimony (see Revelation 12:11)

nation, a purchased people (see 1 Peter 2:9)

Jesus (see Ephesians 1:7)

1 Peter 2:24)

(see Ephesians 1:3-11)

God always causes you to triumph (see 2 Cor 2:14)
