Be Filled
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of min, and shall shew it unto you. (John 16:13,14 KJV)
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worshp the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23,24 KJV)
Declaring the Word of God is powerful, interceding for others is
necessary, and praising God is crucial. Yet
nothing satisfies the human spirit like worship. Worship is like an all you can eat buffet for
our spirits, and without it, we will feel an emptiness, a disconnection from
God, a craving that can’t seem to be quenched.
Jesus says to worship in spirit and in truth. So even now, take a minute, close your eyes,
softly begin to speak in tongues, and wait on the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
Does He drop a Bible verse into your heart, or show you a picture of the
greatness, love, or power of Jesus?
However He speaks to you, treasure it.
Trust Him. Trust the Word that He
spoke or the picture He gave. Repeat it
to Jesus. Worship Jesus with this gem until the Holy Spirit speaks again.
This is the great design of God, this is one of the many workings of the
Holy Spirit, and this is the way our spirits are filled, content, and healthy.
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18 KJV)
